A Greener Tomorrow

Aug 16, 2021

A GREENER TOMORROW.

Eurotel Hotel recently launched its own community "plantry" titled A Seed to Feed: Plant now, Harvest Later at Eurotel Vivaldi.

Inspired by the idea behind community pantries, this project encourages people to have their homegrown vegetables like Ampalaya, Upo, Talong, and Sitaw, to name a few. Over 350 residents, passersby, and hotel guests already benefited from the said program.

"Through our project, we would like to give help to our fellow kababayans in our special way. We thought of giving seeds to the community people to help them grow their own vegetables, to have a healthy food source and save money. Not only that, most of us are already stressed out with all the negative news because of the pandemic situation, and gardening is a natural stress reliever that can improve mood and develop a sense of accomplishment that can also maintain a well mental health”. Ms. Sue Geminiano, Marketing Manager, said.

Eurotel's community plantry will re-open after the ongoing ECQ and be opened every weekday from 10 A.M. until 4 P.M. Also, each recipient would have the chance to get ten different seeds, pots, and planting guidelines.

Incoming guests and passersby will need to register first at the hotel branch to comply with social gathering restrictions.
